The idea of ‘getting it wrong’ became the foundation for my collection, with each outfit celebrating how interesting and elegant a garment can look when it is worn in a new way. Snap fasteners played an important role within the collection as they provided unusual ways to adapt, distort and create shape: giving the user the opportunity to decide how they want to wear each item of clothing. My collection challenges the conventional notion of how any garment should be worn and celebrates creative responses to mistakes.
